Survey Club helps people get paid for taking surveys, using coupons, and participating in research studies ever since they were founded back in 2005. They even guarantee making $5 within your first five minutes.

With over 16 million members, SurveyClub.com is unique in that instead of operating like a normal survey site, they keep a list of panels that they recommend you to join. In short, they're basically a members-only survey site directory.

Getting Started

Signing up is completely free and available on all continents. After the basic signup process is over, you will be required to select several survey panels you want to partner with. They will make you pick at least 3. Some of these panels we have written reviews on including OneOpinion and Earning Station.

Confirm your email to start taking surveys. We recommend using an email that you don't regularly use because the some of the sites may send spam. Sometimes they send you links to survey panels you haven't even joined yet, which can be nice because they are sending you more ways to make money.

Surveys

Survey Club provides its users with a directory of surveys which they can take to earn cash, bonuses, free items and other rewards. They don't say it, but they're basically a survey directory. Their lists are consist of various surveys from other providers.

The pay per survey normally ranges between a few cents to a couple of dollars. The longer the survey is, the more it pays. To my disappointment, I was disqualified from most of the surveys I took. Luckily, they credit a $0.10 compensation for each time you get disqualified.

Some of the survey sites they steer you towards aren't bad. You can actually earn some money if you don't mind the fact that the surveys aren't their own. In my opinion, money is money no matter if the website is an actual panel or more like a catalog.

Focus Groups

Their focus groups are one of your best bets. There are some people who've made $50 to $200 per hour which is an excellent deal.

But what is a focus group exactly? On Survey Club it's a type of qualitative research that allows you to give your personal opinion on certain products, services and ideas. Questions are asked in a group setting where you are allowed to freely talk with other group members.

The zip code you're asked to provide during registration is used so they can invite you to a group consisting of people in you area.

If you have any other questions concerning their Focus Groups, check out their FAQ Page. It's packed with useful information that will help you understand the website better.

Payment

The minimum amount required to withdraw cash is $20, and once you have accumulated that threshold amount you can redeem your cash via PayPal, Amazon gift card, or check. The processing time can vary depending on the offer, but you can expect your payment within 3-4 weeks.

Complaints

When you are looking to join a new survey site, you want to make sure it's completely legit- no scams. While reviewing any survey site, I like to look at the complaints from members to gain some insight on any potential problems that could pop up in the future.

Low revenue is a common issue found across the board. You won't be earning enough to on Survey Club to quit your job, but that's with any survey site. Survey sites are more of a way to earn cash on the side.

The number one complaint with this website is that is that it isn't an actual survey site. Yes it does offer surveys, but it still didn't sit well with members. The same question kept surfacing- “Why should I join a site that will just redirect me to another one? What's the point?” It may be more of a survey directory, but what makes Survey Club unique is that it offers surveys from a bunch of different panels. You have access to a variety of different panels all listed on one webpage, which could be a real time-saver.

Privacy

Survey Club promises to take your privacy seriously, which is a good sign. The types of information they may obtain on the site may include the following: your full name, address, e-mail, date of birth, ethnicity, and gender. They may also ask about your use of the products and services provided by third parties they have partnered with.

If you decide that you do not want any of their mailings anymore, you have the option to opt out. You can find the opt-out/modify section in their privacy policy.

Overall their policy is pretty standard, there are no major red flags or concerns.

Survey Club: Legit Or A Scam?

Yes they are a legit company, but we wouldn't recommend having them as your main source of income. There are chances to make some good pay with the focus groups, but their surveys can be unpredictable. It serves a better purpose as a way to make money on the side.

If you've decided Survey Club isn't for you and you're looking for an actual survey site, we recommend Swagbucks. It's ranked #1 on our review site because it's are dependable and there is good earning potential. The list could go on for sure.
