It is an online survey company that pays you $1.00 for every survey you complete. Dollar Surveys is very simple, and easy to use. All you do to complete the registration process is enter your PayPal information. Once you take care of that, it is time to start taking surveys and earning cash. Simple and easy, right?
Considering the earning potential in comparison to other survey sites, you may be thinking that it seems like a pretty good opportunity. There are some survey sites that pay much less than $1.00 per survey, so Dollar Surveys may seem to have the upper hand..
Well…
That's simply not the case. There is an overwhelming trend of Dollar Surveys customer dissatisfaction, as well as some other red flags. This Dollar Surveys review will outline the good and bad about the company, and give you the information you need to decide for yourself if it is, in fact, a scam.
Earning Potential
Dollar Surveys only has one way to earn money, which is taking surveys. There is no set amount of surveys that you will receive, although. Some days, you may receive 3 or 4 surveys to complete. Other days, or weeks, potentially, there will be no surveys for you to complete.
In order to cash out, you must reach the $30.00 threshold. Once you reach $30.00, you can have the money deposited directly into your PayPal account.
Although a $1.00 payout seems pretty good just for completing a survey, it is hard to earn any substantial amount of income because it is the only way to earn. And when there is no set number of surveys you receive every day, it makes it even more difficult.
Once you complete a survey, it takes about a week to be credited in your account. Some customers, although, reported it taking a month. There were other customers who never got any credit for completing surveys. Multiple customers even reported being just a few dollars short of cashing out, and never receiving another survey again. Is this a coincidence? I'll let you decide.
On average, 50% of Dollar Surveys users reported never actually getting paid. That is horrible. 50% is absolutely much too high, which makes me believe it is not a genuine mistake. Dollar Surveys should be ashamed!
Customer Service
Many customers reported that when they reached out to Dollar Surveys looking to get their problems resolved, they experienced an absolutely dreadful customer service center. They are very hard to work with, and it is an obstacle to even get in contact with in the first place.
Dollar Survey states, “For account issues, payment problems, or anything else – please use our FAQ section. We will NOT respond to requests that are already answered in our FAQ section.” Dollar Survey makes it pretty clear…
They do not want to be bothered!

- Direct cash deposit when you cash out (if you can cash out in the first place)
Cons:
- Terrible customer service
- Payment issues (50% of users don't ever see the money that they earned)
- Only one way to earn
- Regular screenings from surveys (You can finish a survey or be close to a survey just to find out that you never qualified for it in the first place)
Legit or a Scam?
I think it is pretty safe to say that you should stay away from Dollar Surveys. While half of Dollar Surveys' users are happy with their experiences, the other half are absolutely not. If 50% of their users never get paid, there is something fishy going on.
If 100% of their users were never paid, they would not be in business at all. So with that in mind, considering 50% of their customers never get paid, it is safe to say that Dollar Surveys is a scam.

In conclusion, I do not recommend Dollar Surveys at all.
The final verdict is that it is, in fact, a scam. They manipulate half of their users, take the information that they provide, and never reward them.
Once again, if you are interested in generating an online income, I recommended Swagbucks. It gives you many more opportunities to make money, and it is 100% legit! It is important to remember that you won't be able to generate a full time income using a survey site, although. It gives you an opportunity to make some extra money.
