You've been looking for an easy way to make some extra money, and that's when you came across Whatusersdo. Finding a legitimate survey site can be tricky because there are a lot of scams out there, but luckily in this full review I will discuss both the good and bad of this potential survey site.

Founded in 2008, Whatusersdo has been paying its members for over 9 years. Currently they have over 1,500 users reviewing websites and earning cash.

Answering a commonly asked question, Whatusersdo is not accredited by the BBB (Better Business Bureau). They do, on the other hand, have a Facebook and Twitter page. The pages post useful information and giveaways, so make sure to check them regularly.

How It Works

At Whatusersdo, you can review various websites in exchange for rewards- all in the comfort of your home. Not only are you making money for each review, but you are improving the websites as well.

A typical offer you would experience with Whatusersdo starts off with visiting a company website and completing a series of tasks. The entire process will be recorded via webcam. Some think that having to look into a webcam is sketchy business, but it's actually for a completely legit reason.

The company wants to see your reactions as you complete certain tasks. It's a much more fluid way of getting customer feedback. Instead of trying to decipher what a customer means by a written review, they can see your real time responses.

Your screen and voice will be recorded, but you can stop recording at any time.

Earning Potential

Tests fall into 3 categories: Website Usability, Website Benchmarking and SEO Research.

You are sent an invitation when a website is available to review. Approximately 3-5 invitations will be sent to you per month, although the more effort you put into your reviews, the more invitations you'll receive.

Reviews take less than 20 minutes, and for each one you complete,  you will earn $5. Every 25th of the month you can expect payout via PayPal.

The start out is slow but you will eventually reap benefits if you stick with it.

How a website maintains your privacy can be a huge indicator on whether it is legitimate or not. While reviewing any potential survey site, it's important that you consider all parts in their privacy policies. So that's exactly what I am going to do with Whatuserdo.

When you sign up, they specifically ask you to enter in your “work email.” Not your regular email, but your work email. This was a red flag for me, but really this could go either way. They either want to scam you, or they are just trying to be professional. So far I've had no problems so it's probable that they are acting professional.

Whatusersdo has a habit of closing out users accounts without prior warning. The only reason for this that I could think of is that they did something that looked like fraud to the administrators. My account has not been closed, but I recommend that you exercise caution just in case.

If after reading this you are still harboring some unanswered questions, check out their privacy policy and learn more about how they keep your information safe.

Whatusersdo: Legit Or A Scam?

When evaluating a survey site, it all comes down to this simple question. In fact, it's an easy process if you know the 4 things to look for.

It's safe to say that Whatusersdo is not one of the many scams out there. They are a legitimate website mainly because they actually pay.

How To Get Started

The process of getting your account up and running takes longer than what is normally preferred, but if you have the patience it can certainly payoff.

First you have to sign up, then download a screen recorder. Next you take a practice test and then you're ready to start earning real money!

Whatusersdo is not compatible with mobile devices, but as long as you have a microphone, Java and a PC device, you are good to go.

Altogether, Whatusersdo is a good get-paid-to survey site.

They are legitimate, and the pay is consistent. Will you make enough for it to count as your main source of income though? Probably not, but that's okay. This is the case with most survey sites. The concept serves best as way to make extra money for the holidays, not to pay your rent. On that note, Whatusersdo is a great way to make money on the side.

Hopefully this review has given you clarity in whether Whatusersdo is right for you or not. If you've decided the latter, I recommend trying Swagbucks. It will not disappoint! Time and time again I recommend this survey site for it's dependability and fun ways to earn money. Click here now to access our full review.
