Panda Research is a website that pays its members to do a number of things- read emails, complete some offers and fill out surveys. In this review we take an in depth look at Panda Research to learn everything you need to know about the site.

About The Company

PandaResearch.com has been around the block since 2005. It's owned by A&A Marketing Inc., the same organization that owns renowned sites InboxPays.com and MindsPay.com. However, if you're looking for their accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, nothing came up. It's nothing to worry about, though, there are many successful companies who are not accredited by the BBB.

At first glance the site seems outdated. The text is small and the whole platform isn't entirely user friendly. This isn't necessarily a red flag but it definitely lowers our opinion of them.

In many ways our standards for comparison are set by Swagbucks. Their interface is incredibly appealing and the site has loads of offers and opportunities for its members.

Signing Up for Panda Research

Survey panels are about a dime a dozen, and most operate under the same principle- members take a few minutes of their time to answer a paid survey. A minor inconvenience, to sign up for Panda Research you have to be at least 18 years old and live in the United States. Hopefully one day the company will expand their horizons to other countries as well.

The registration page displays the fields you'll have to complete. Information such as date of birth, income, gender, email address, etc. You'll also be asked to fill in both demographic and personal information that will serve as targeting purposes for the available surveys. There's a pleasant surprise at the end- you'll get $3 in credits as soon as registration is completed.

Keep in mind that registration is free, but you'll soon start receiving marketing emails from them. Some of these contain profitable offers but nearly all of them require credit card information and shipping payments. At first look, that could seem sketchy, but sometimes it's needed in the transferring of rewards.

Privacy

There's a Privacy Policy on Panda Research's website. This is usually a good sign, as legitimate companies will always take the time to certify and accredit themselves with online standards for privacy protection aspects.

It's easy to unsubscribe from the website and check the box that says you want to delete all personal information you entered when you signed up. Other companies keep your information and sell it to 3rd party entities for extra profits.

Making Money

You'll be given a number of money making options the moment you log in to Panda Research. Survey panels can sometimes have a maximum pay rate of $75, although the average range is $.50 to $10 for a typical survey. Quick piece of advice: jump at any survey opportunity you see because they fill up very quickly.

The minimum threshold for cashing out with Panda Research is $50. Members can request their money once it reaches $50 and above. Panda Research payment come in increments of $50. This means that if you have $125 in your account, you can cash out $100 (2 increments of $50), but will not be able to withdraw the remaining $25 until it reaches $50.

Surveys

Panda Research will credit your account once the survey is fully completed and filled out. They accept most of these surveys from third party companies and other organizations as advertised on their website. Most surveys take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour to complete, the pay varies depending on the length.

Paid Offers

Will you be willing to take up offers by some companies? Some of these offers could include free trial offers, satellite TV subscriptions, etc in exchange for doing a stress test regarding their products or services. Some of these offers come in through your email when you register for a membership with Panda Research. They're not all completely free though; sometimes you'll need to put in your credit card information. In other instances you'll be required to pay for shipping plus handling. They do have free offers, but keep an eye out for the ones that require payment later on. These free trials have a way of sneaking up on your credit card statement as they expire, so just make a note and cancel the service before the trial period expires.

Referral

Panda Research has a decent referral program and will pay you for each successful one you make. You can invite your friends and family to make an income on the side. Each action they take (surveys, paid offers) will get you a share of the pie. As long as they keep an active account, you can take 10% of their earnings. Provide them a custom referral link to activate the referral feature.

You can take advantage of offers like this by learning more about affiliate marketing. Money is money, but the more people the better with this kind of offer.

So Is It A Scam?

At first glance, Panda Research doesn't look like a scam, but take a closer look and there are some sketchy elements that need to be addressed. Legally, Panda Research operates within the confines of a legitimate company, but there are a few things that can be off-putting.

After diving into some customer reviews, the biggest red flag becomes clear – inconsistency in payment. Some members of Panda Research are getting paid and some aren't. Sure, signing up is free and you get paid in a number of ways, but it's still something you have to consider. So if you do join Panda Research there are chances you'll get paid, but come with modest expectations.

You've heard all the ins and outs of this survey site and now it's time to ask yourself the big question. Are they legitimate? It really is hard to say with this one. There are a few red flags that are very evident while reading this review. It's certainly not one the best survey sites out there, but there is potential hidden deep inside if you're will to take a leap of faith. Now that you have the information, you can decide if they are a fit for you. If you want to give Panda Research a try, it's suggested that you proceed at your own risk.
