While looking for a potential survey site, you might have come across OpinionWorld. Generally a lesser-known panel, as of recently they have become increasingly popular.

OpinionWorld lets their users share their opinion in all different types of surveys, both desktop and mobile. They even offer shorter, less detailed surveys to take on a daily basis, although you won’t be paid. When you complete these surveys, Opinion World will donate money to charity instead.
Surveys for which you actually get paid come less frequently, anywhere from once a week to once a month.
Listed below are some ways to improve the frequency of your surveys.
- Keep your profile updated. The more specific you are, the more likely you are to get surveys that you will qualify for and therefore get paid for. Any life changes will make a drastic difference in the surveys you receive.
- Take advantage of the little extra opportunities. Every now and then, they will send you an email, asking that you update your profile or confirm some information for them. It takes less than three seconds, and often they will offer you a point reward for doing so.
- Take every survey that's offered. Maybe a survey looks too long or you know before you take it that you might get disqualified. Do it anyway. Every time you are disqualified from a survey (and therefore don’t get paid) OpinionWorld enters you into a “Thank You” prize drawing to ensure that you haven’t exactly wasted your time.
- Enter into the drawings. Opinion World chooses randomly selected prize winners from random drawings they do on a regular basis. Make sure you are always entered for these drawings.
The panel routinely sends out email invitations for surveys so you will never miss out on an opportunity. Surveys vary in length, but most surveys take between 10-15 minutes to complete.
You can expect your compensation to vary up from $0.50 to $3 per survey on OpinionWorld. Ultimately the amount depends upon time required, and your demographic information.
Additional Opportunities
If you keep up with your profile and continue to participate in surveys you may be identified as a “valued professional” with OpinionWorld. This means you will be sent better surveys and will be eligible for special high-paying focus groups and product testing opportunities.

OpinionWorld operates with a points system. By partaking in paid task, you are gifted points which can be transformed into rewards once you reach the minimum threshold of 1000 points ($10).
There are so many rewards to choose from like cash, amazon giftcards, airline miles, restaurant gift cards, movie vouchers and much more.
Members who choose to redeem their earnings by PayPal or for an e-gift certificate often receive their payments instantaneously or within a few hours. Physical gift cards usually take around 2 weeks to process and ship.
Privacy
Privacy is an important factor in determining the legitimacy of a survey site. If your information is't kept safe, it's likely that they aren't legitimate.
Looking at their privacy policy, I didn't come across any major red flags.
Like most other survey sites, they only collect the information you provide them. They use your information to communicate with you regarding your membership and participation in surveys, and to tailor survey opportunities.
Complaints
Some users may experience a high degree of getting screened out of surveys, although this is often because users are not keeping their profiles up to date. OpinionWorld, perhaps more than any other program, keeps a close eye on this aspect of your account and will disqualify you from survey invites if you don’t keep it current.
Legit Or A Scam?
OpinionWorld has great money-making opportunities. You can't go wrong with surveys and there are so many rewards to choose from.
Thanks to some careful research, I've concluded that OpinionWorld is legitimate. They do pay, and they care about their members' privacy.
